This is a review of a split ep between Indiana's Desekryptor and California's Draghkar which was released as a joint effort between Blood Harvest Records and Helter Skelter Productions and we will start off the review with Desekryptor a band that plays a putrid form of death metal.
Their side of the split starts out with guttural death metal growls along with some dark yet heavy riffing while the faster sections of the song also bring in a great amount of blast beats along with the music also adding a modern approach to an old school style as well as bringing in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and when guitar leads are utilized they are done in a very chaotic style, the production sounds very dark and heavy while the lyrics cover gore themes.
In my opinion Desekryptor are a very great sounding putrid death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out their side of the split.
Next up is Draghkar a band that plays a cavernous form of death metal.
Their side of the split starts out with some slow and dark riffing along with some deep death metal growls while all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them as well as adding some blast beats into the faster section of the song and you can also hear a touch of black metal at times, the production sounds very dark and old school while the lyrics cover horror and madness themes.
In my opinion Draghkar are a very great sounding cavernous death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out their side of the split.
In conclusion I feel this is a very great sounding split and I would recommend it to all fans of death metal.
