Shrill Whispers/Your Worst Fear/2012 EP Review

Shrill  Whispers  where  a  band  from  the  Chezch  Republic  that  played  a  very  heavy  and  brutal  form  of  deathcore  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  self  released  2012  ep  "Your  Worst  Fear".

Drums  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  drumming  with  some  brutal  sounding  blast  beats being  utilized  at  times,  while  the  bass  playing  has  a  very  dark  tone  with  riffs  that  follow  the  riffing  that  are  coming  out  of  the  guitars.

Rhythm  guitars  range  from  slow,  mid paced  to  fast  deathcore  riffs  that  are  very  heavy  and  brutal  sounding  with  some  melody  being  thrown  into  the  riffing  at  times,  while  the  lead  guitars  are  very  dark  and  technical  sounding  death  metal  guitar  solos  and  leads.

Vocals  range  from  deep  death  metal  growls  to  high  pitched  screams  along  with  a  brief  use  of  spoken  word  samples  and  pig  squeels,  while  the  lyrics  cover  dark  and  violent  themes,  as  for  the  production  it  has  a  very  strong,  powerful,  heavy  and  professional  sound for  being  a  self  released  recording.

In  my  opinion  Shrill  Whispers  where  a  very  great  sounding  heavy  and  brutal  deathcore  band  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  ep.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Inside  Out"  and  "Your  Worst  Fear".  RECOMMENDED  BUY.
