Galvanizer are a band from Finland that plays an old school mixture of death metal and gore/grind and this is a review of their 2018 album "Sanguine Vigal" which will be released in February by Everlasting Spew Records.
Horror movie samples start off the album before going into a very fast and raw brutal grindcore which also uses a great amount of blast beats while the vocals are mostly death metal growls along with a few screams and the music is very heavily rooted in the early 90's era.
Throughout the recording you can also hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while some of the riffing also brings in a small amount of melody along with all of the musical instruments also having a very powerful sound to them as well as the solos and leads also sticking to a very old school death metal style but also having their dark and melodic moments and as the album progresses horror movie samples also make a return in certain sections of the recording.
Galvanizer plays a musical style that goes back to the early 90's era of death metal and gore/grind, the production sounds very old school while the lyrics cover gore and horror themes.
In my opinion Galvanizer are a very great sounding old school mixture of death metal and gore/grind and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Mood For The Blade" "Sanguine Vigil" "Gorefestation" and "A Painful End For Curiosity". 8 out of 10.
