Deivos are a band from Poland that has been featured before in this zine and plays a very brutal and technical form of death metal with a touch of grindcore and this is a review of their 2017 album "Endemic Divine" which was released by Selfmadegod Records.
A very heavy and grinding sound starts off the album along with some blast beats and death metal growls a few seconds later and the riffing also gets very technical at times and high pitched screams are also used at times and the solos and leads also demonstrate a great amount of talent and skill.
Throughout the recording you can hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while the riffs also bring in a small amount of melody at times and there is also a brief use of sound effects which gives the recording a sci fi atmosphere while the main focus remains more on a brutal and technical style and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and the last track is very long and epic in length.
Deivos creates another recording that remains true to the technical and brutal style of death metal from previous releases, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover suffering and death themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Deivos and if you are a fan of this band, you should enjoy this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Damonion" "Dust Of The Universe" and "Endemic Divine". 8 out of 10.
