Bloodhunter are a band from Spain that plays a very melodic form of death metal and this is a review of their 2017 album "The End Of Faith" which was released by Xtreem Music.
Melodic guitar leads start off the album along with some heavy riffing a few seconds later while all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them along with the faster sections of the songs also bringing in a great amount of blast beats as well as some of the riffing adding in a touch of thrash.
Vocals are a mixture of death metal growls and screams while the riffs also bring in a great amount of melody along with the songs also bringing in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and as the album progresses a brief use of classical guitars can be heard as well as one of the tracks being an instrumental, one track also brings in a small amount of movie samples and they close the album with a cover of Death's "Crystal Mountain".
Bloodhunter plays a style of melodic death metal that s very modern but also heavily influenced by the old school style, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover darkness, death and mythology themes.
In my opinion Bloodhunter are a very great sounding melodic death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "The End Of Faith" "The Queen Beast" "Spirits Of Sin" and "Possessed by Myself". 8 out of 10.
