Cadaver Putrefacto are a band from Argentina that plays a very brutal, old school and guttural form of gore/death metal and this is a review of their 2018 album "La Maldicion del Zombi" which will be released in April by Brutal Records.
A very fast, heavy and brutal sound starts off the album along with a great amount of blast beats while all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them as well as the music being very heavily rooted in the 90's and the vocals are mostly guttural death metal growls.
When guitar solos and leads are utilized they stick to a very chaotic and old school death metal style while the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with some screams also being added into some parts of the songs and some of the riffing also beings in a small amount of dark sounding melodies as well as some modern elements also being used at times and the music always remains very heavy and brutal.
Cadaver Putrefacto plays a style of brutal death metal that has a lot of 90's influences while also capturing some of the more modern guttural style, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics are written in Spanish and cover horror, gore and deprivation themes.
In my opinion Cadaver Putrfacto are a very great sounding brutal, old school and guttural death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Sangriento Frenesi" "Gerontofilia" "Cadaver Putrefacto" and "La Evolucion Del Dolor". 8 out of 10.
