Gutted are a band from Hungary that plays a mixture of brutal death metal and grindcore and this is a review of their 2013 ep "Path Of A New Era" which was released by PRC Music.

Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with a good amount of brutal sounding blast beats being thrown into the music, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that are coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast riffs that combine brutal death metal with grindcore to create a sound of their own, while the lead guitars are very technical sounding death metal guitar solos and leads.
Vocals range from deep death metal growls to high pitched gore/grindcore screams with some samples being used on the intro, while the lyrics cover violent themes, as for the production it has a very strong, powerful, heavy, brutal and professional sound to it.
In my opinion Gutted are a very great sounding hybrid of technical, brutal death metal and grindcore and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Cosmos Of Humans". RECOMMENDED BUY.
