Temnein are a band from France that plays a very progressive and melodic form of death metal and this is a review of their 2017 album "White Stained Inferno" which will be released in October by Massacre Records.
Clean playing and acoustic guitars start off the album before going into a heavier musical direction which also introduces melodic guitar leads onto the recording while the riffs also use a great amount of melody along with a great amount of blast beats also being added into the faster sections of the songs.
Vocals are mostly death metal growls and screams while the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with all of the musical instruments all having a very powerful sound to them, some of the tracks are very long and epic in length and acoustic guitars are also used on some of t he alter tracks and also gives the songs a more progressive feeling and as the album progresses clean singing can also be heard in certain sections of the recording.
Temnein plays a style of death metal that is very melodic and progressive sounding, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark, philosophical and real life themes.
In my opinion Temnein are a very great sounding progressive and melodic death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Ataxia" "Knowledge As A Burden" "The Seal" and "Dawn Of The New Day". 8 out of 10.
