Solace And Stable are a band from Kansas City, Missouri that has been featured before in this zine with a musical style that mixes melodic death metal, deathcore and metalcore together and this is a review of their self released 2012 album "The Systematic Erosion Of Integrity".
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with some blast beats being thrown into the music at times, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast riffs that combine melodic death metal, deathcore and metalcore together to create a sound of their own with some technical parts being thrown into the riffing as well as a brief use of soft and clean playing, while the lead guitars are very melodic sounding heavy metal guitar solos and leads.
Vocals a re a mixture of deep death metal and metalcore growls with some spoken word parts being thrown into the music at times, while the lyrics cover everyday themes, as for the production it has a very strong, powerful, heavy and professional sound for being a self released recording.
In my opinion this is another great recording from Solace And Stable and if you are a fan of their previous efforts, you should enjoy this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "American Beauty" "Culture Of Corruption" "The Hollow Present" and "Solstice". RECOMMENDED BUY.
