Taketh are a band from Sweden that plays a very melodic form of death metal and this is a review of their self released 2013 album "Ignorance Is Strength".
"Moving On" starts off with starts off with dark synths, and drums before kicking into a faster guitar riff and screams which also leads to some melodies getting introduced to the song and after awhile the music slows down introduces a melodic guitar lead and clean singing before going into a symphonic direction while also retaining the heavy and melodic elements as well as the singing .
"We Are Slaves" starts off with heavy guitar riffing which leads to the drums, screams and music going into a faster direction before slowing down and mixing in mid paced parts and melody while also remaining heavy and introducing growls which also leads to the song switching back and forth between slow, mid paced and fast.
"Your Master" starts off with heavy and melodic guitar riffing along with some drumming before going faster and bringing in the growls and screams as well as mixing in slow and mid paced parts which leads to some clean singing and the song switches back and forth"
"In Memory" starts off with some guitar riffs, drums, and screams as well as a semi fast direction which also leads to some blast beats and melody making their way into the song before slowing down for awhile and switching back and forth between the fast and slow parts and after awhile violins make their presence known and combine with the heavier elements.

"Inside Of You" starts off with melodic guitars before the bass and drums kick in setting up the mood for t he screams to kick in and going into a more mid paced direction while also retaining the melody as well as slowing down at times and mixing in some brief guitar leads.
"!984" starts off with heavy guitars and drums before going into a more mid paced direction and introducing the screams as well s slowing down at times and mixing in growls which leads to the song getting faster and bringing in melodic singing as well as switching back and forth between slow, mid paced and fast parts and as the song guitar solos makes it presence known for a brief period.
"Mind Numbing Craps starts off with guitar and bass riffs which in returns leads to the drums and screams before going into a faster direction and mixing in traditional metal melodies which leads to t he song slowing down and bringing in guitar solos as well as aggressive clean vocals and the song switches back and forth between the slow, mid paced and fast sections.
Song lyrics cover dark, everyday and dystopian themes, while the production has a very strong, powerful, heavy and professional sound for being a self releases recording.
