Bloodscribe are a band from California that plays a brutal and slamming mixture of death metal, gore and grind and this is a review of their 2015 album "Prologue to The Apocalypse" which will be released in February by Gore House Productions.
A very heavy and brutal death metal sound starts off the album along with some slam elements and after the intro the music starts to speed up a bit along with a great amount of blast beats and growls are also introduced into the music along with a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts.
At times the vocals can be guttural while there is still a traditional approach to death metal growling and you can hear a heavy influence from New York style death metal in the bands musical style along with some elements of grindcore in the faster sections of the music and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and there is never a soft or weak moment to be heard anywhere on the recording and the last track also brings in a small amount of guitar leads.
Bloodscribe plays a very brutal style of slam death metal that is very guttural and also brings in a touch of gore and grindcore to enhance the brutality, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark, violence and gore and themes.
In my opinion Bloodstrike are a very decent brutal and slamming mixture of death metal, gore and grind and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Pantheon Of Lies" "Demons" "Kingdoms Fall" and "In Ruins". 7/5 out of 10.
