Embrional are a band from Poland that has been featured before in this zine and plays a very technical and brutal form of death metal with some black metal influences and this is a review of their 2015 album "The Devil Inside" which will be released on February 28th by Old Temple.
Distorted sound effects start off the album along with some war sounds and after the intro the music goes in a very fast, brutal and technical death metal direction along with some growls and blast beats as well as all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts.
Melodies can be heard quite a bit throughout the recording and on some of the tracks clean playing can be heard in certain sections of the recording along with a brief use of demonic laughter on one song which also brings in black metal screams and when solos are utilized they are very melodic but also have their technical moments at times.
On some of the tracks modern death metal elements can be heard while the band does remain true to a Polish style of death metal and there is also a brief instrumental before returning back to vocals on the following tracks and they demonstrate a great amount of talent and skill a s musicians throughout the recording.
Embrional creates another brutal and technical death metal album that h as a touch of black metal elements and you can hear a great amount of progression over the last 3 years, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover The End Of Mankind.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Embrional and if you are a fan of this band, you should enjoy this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "The Devil Inside" "The Abyss" "Madman's Curse" and "Whores, Drugs And brain Dead". 8 out of 10.
