Deep In Hate are a band from France that plays a very melodic form of deathcore and this is a review of their 2014 album "Chronicles Of Oblivion" which will be released by Kaotoxin.
An intro with sound effects starts off the album along with some spoken word samples before going into the actual songs and starting out with a very heavy, modern and melodic sound which also has elements of thrash and leads up to some death metal growls and screams becoming a huge part of the music.
Hardcore breakdowns along with a melodic death metal sound are a huge part of the album and the band also has elements of djent in the slower sections in the music along with some melodic death/thrash guitar leads which are only used briefly as well as a small amount of blast beats and as the album progresses the music also has its brutal and technical moments and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them.
Deep In hate have a very heavy yet catchy sound with their music being rooted in deathcore but they also incorporate melodic, technical and brutal death metal elements in their music along with touches of djent and hardcore to create their sound and while it is not one of my favorite styles, i still feel the band is very good at what they do, the production is very professional sounding and the lyrics cover philosophical themes.
In my opinion Deep in Hate are a very great sounding melodic deathcore band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Genesis of Void" "New Republic" "Unheard prayers" and "Wingless GOds". 7/5 out of 10.
