Disear are a band from Taiwan that plays a very melodic form of death metal and this is a review of their 2013 album "Ashes Of The Dawn" which was re-issued in 2015 by Metal Scrap Records.
A very dark and melodic sound starts off the album before going into a heavier direction as well as adding in guitar solos and leads and after the intro the music starts going into more of a melodic death metal direction as well as adding in high pitched screams and when themusic speeds up blast beats can be heard.
Throughout the recording there is a great mixture of slow, mid paced and parts and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and the vocals also utilize growls at times while some songs also bring in more of a modern melodic death metal style and they also bring in a couple of brief instrumentals that also introduces acoustic guitars onto the recording along with a few seconds of synths before making a return back to vocal tracks and the bonus track also adds in melodic yet rough vocals.
Diesear plays a style of melodic death metal that is very guitar driven and mixes the classic style of the genre in with a more modern sound, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark themes.
In my opinion Diesear are a very great sounding melodic death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this re-issue. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Shadows Of Grey" "Dying Dust" and "Blazing Wings". 8 out of 10.
