Necrosis are a band from Denmark that plays a brutal mixture of death metal and grindcore and this is a review of their self released 2017 album "Mythogenesis".
A very heavy and brutal sound starts off the album while the vocals are a mixture of screams and death metal growls and when the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard along with the music bringing in a great amount of influences from the 90's era.
A decent amount of grindcore influences and melodies can be heard in the bands musical style and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with all of the musical instruments sounding very powerful while only a small amount of guitar leads are ever utilized and the music always remains very heavy along with spoken word samples being utilized briefly and the last track is very long and epic in length.
Necrosis plays a musical style that mixes 90's era death metal and gore/grind together to create a very heavy sounding recording, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark themes.
In my opinion Necrosis are a very great sounding mixture of death metal and grindcore and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Staring Through The Sun" "The Magnitude Of Sovereignty" "Crying Havoc" and "Forced Metabolic Convalescence". 8 out of 10.
