Dehumanized are a band from new York that has been featured before in this zine and plays a very brutal form of slam death metal and this is a review of their 2016 album "Beyond the Mind" which will be released in October by Comatose Music.
Clean guitars start off the album along with some whispers a few seconds later and after awhile death metal growls are added onto the recording along with some brutal blast beats in t he faster sections of the songs and the tracks also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and high pitched screams can also be heard at times.
A great amount of 90's east coast death metal influences can be heard quite a bit throughout the recording and the vocals also get very guttural at times while some tracks also bring in a small amount of melody and you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on the recording while the guitar leads gives the songs more of an old school death metal feeling when they are utilized which is only briefly and some tracks also bring in a small amount of spoken word samples.
Dehumanized creates another recording that remains true to the brutal, slam style of death metal from previous recordings, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover death, destruction and horror themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Dehumanized and if you are a fan of brutal and slam death metal, you should check out t his album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Worthless Prosperity" "Black Market 2099" "The First Immortal" and "Telepathics". 8 out of 10.
