Calm Hatchery are a band from Poland that plays a very brutal form of death metal and this is a review of their 2010 album "Calm Hatchery" which was released by SelfMadeGod Records.
Drums alternate between slow, mid paced to fast drumming with a lot of brutal blast beats, while the bass playing is mixed down low in the mix and seems to follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars combine slow, mid paced and fast death metal riffs together with a great amount of brutality, while the lead guitars are very chaotic sounding death metal guitar solos that also contain a great amount of melody.
Vocals are mostly deep death metal growls with some high pitched screams being used at times, while the lyrics cover war and death, as for the production it has a very professional and heavy sound to it.
In my opinion Calm Hatchery are a very good brutal death metal band, and if you are a fan of this genre, you should check out this group. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Sea Of Truth" "We Are The Universe "Hymn Of The Forgotten" and "The Blood Of Stallingrad". RECOMMENDED BUY.
