Beansidhe are a band from Switzerland that plays a melodic form of death metal with elements of black and thrash metal and this is a review of their 2016 album "Mont" which was released by Via Nocturna.
A very fast sound starts off the album along with some blast beats and melodic yet epic guitar leads which are also used quite a bit throughout the recording and a great portion of the tracks are very long and epic in length while all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them along with some progressive elements.
Vocals are mostly deep death metal growls while black metal screams can also be heard at times and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and as the album progresses more thrash influences can be heard in the music and the fast riffs and leads also use a great amount of tremolo picking and some songs also bring in a small amount of classical guitars and one track also brings in a brief use of melodic singing while the last song adds in symphonic and classical music touches.
Beansidhe plays a style of death metal that is very melodic and progressive while also mixing in influences of thrash and black metal to create something very original, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover spiritual and nature themes.
In my opinion Beansidhe are a very great sounding progressive and melodic death metal band with touches of thrash and black metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Spazi" and "Diavol". 8 out of 10.
