Myth Of A Life are a band from the United Kingdom that plays a very melodic form of death metal and this is a review of their 2016 album "She Who Invites" which was released by Sleaszy Rider Records.
Classical guitar playing and atmospheric synths start off the album and after the intro spoken word parts are used briefly before going into a very fast and heavy musical direction that also introduces melodic guitar leads and blast beats onto the recording as well as bringing in a great mixture of both growls and high pitched screams.
All of the musical instruments on the recording have a very powerful sound to them and clean playing can also be heard in certain sections of the recording along with spoken word parts also making a return on a couple of t he tracks and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and you can also hear a great amount of Swedish influences throughout the recording.
Myth Of A Life plays a style of melodic death metal that is very true to the Swedish style of the genre while also being very modern, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark themes.
In my opinion Myth Of A Life are a very great sounding melodic death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Scourged And Crucified" "Taking Back What Is Mine" "She Who Invites" and "Burning Vision". 8 out of 10.
