Red Dawn are a band from France that plays a technical form of slam death metal and this is a review of their 2016 album "Algorithim Of Destruction" which was released by Finisterian Dead End.
Epic sounding synths start off the album and after the intro the music goes into a heavier musical direction along with some dark sounding melodies and you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on the recording and when the music speeds up a great amount fo blast beats can be heard.
Vocals bring in a great mixture of both death metal growls and screams while the solos and leads are done in a very technical fashion while also having their melodic moments and on some tracks the vocals incorporate deathcore elements while elements of slam can also be heard in some parts of the songs and the music also brings in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and a couple of the tracks are very long and epic in length and on the last song a small amount of acoustic guitars are added into the music.
Red Dawn plays a style of death metal t hat is very technical while also adding in touches of slam and deathcore which also sets them apart from most band s of then genre, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark and violent themes.
In my opinion Red Dawn are a very great sounding technical death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Casked Clock" "Looking Through The Eye Of God" and "Infinity Of Time". 8 out of 10.
