Korpse are a band from the Netherlands that plays a very brutal form of gore/death metal and this is a review of their 2016 album "Unethical" which was released by Rising Nemesis Records.
A very heavy sound starts off the album and spoken word parts can also be heard at times and when the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard while the vocals are guttural death metal growls and the music also brings in elements of slam at times along with a great amount of east coast influences.
Throughout the recording you can hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and all of the songs avoid using any guitar solos and leads and the whole album also remains very heavy and brutal from beginning to ending of the recording and spoken word samples also make a return on later tracks and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them.
Korpse plays a style of death metal that is very brutal and also mixes in a great amount of slam elements, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover gore, social issues and political themes.
In my opinion Korpse are a very great sounding brutal death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Collateral Casualties" "Stoneage" "Unethical" and "Eternal Misery". 8 out of 10.
