Upcoming Devastation/Trilogy Of Human Decay/2016 EP Review

Human  Decay  are  s  band  from  Spain  that  plays  a  brutal  mixture  of  death  metal  and  grindcore  and  this  is  a  review  of t heir  self  released  2016  ep  "Trilogy  Of  Human  Decay".

A  very  fast  and  brutal  sound  starts  off  the  ep  along  with  a  great  amount  of  blast  beats  as  well  as  some  very  guttural  sounding  growls  and  the  music also mixes  in  a  great  amount  of  slam  elements  and  you  can  also  hear  all  of  the  musical  instruments  that  are  present  on  the r ecording  and  the  leads  also  bring  in  more  of  a  technical  style.

Elements  of  grindcore  can  be  heard  in  the  faster  sections  of  the  songs  while  the  riffs  also  bring  in  a  small  amount  of  melody  at  times  and  the  songs  also bring  in  a  great  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  and  the  songs  also  mix  in  a  lot  of  east  coast  influences  as  well  as  always  remaining  very  heavy  and  brutal  from  beginning  to  ending  of  the  recording.

Upcoming  Devastation  plays  a  music  style  that  takes  the  brutal,  slam  and  technical  sides  of  death  metal  and mixes  it  with  grindcore  to  create  a  style  of  their  own, the  production  sounds  very  professional  for  being  a  self  released  recording  while  the  lyrics  cover  misanthropy  and  human  annihilation  themes.

In  my  opinion  Upcoming  Devastation  are  a  very  great  sounding  mixture  of  brutal  death  metal  and  grindcore  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK  "Return  to  the  First  Day".  8  out  of  10.
