A-Morality are a band from Russia that plays a mixture of metalcore and deathcore and this is a review of their 2013 ep "Manifesto Misanthrope/" which was released by Satanath Records.
A very heavy and melodic metalcore sound starts off the ep along with some death metal growls and high pitched screams and when the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard and the solos and leads when they are utilized are very technical with a great amount of melody and they also bring in hardcore style back up gang vocals.
All of the musical instruments on the recording have a very powerful sound to them and clean playing can be heard in certain sections of the recording and the music while it has its fast moments the songs stick mostly to a mid paced metalcore style and when clean singing is brought into the music briefly they give the music more of a nu-metal feeling while the other half of the recording are all instrumental tracks of the same songs.
A-Mortality plays more of a mild style of deathcore that also mixes in metalcore and a touch of nu-metal to create a style of their own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover evil and darkness themes.
In my opinion A-Mortality are a very decent sounding mixture of metalcore and deathcore and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "I Will Not Die In Spite Of You" and "Time Reversal". 7/5 out of 10.
