1.Can you give us an update on what is going on with the band since the recording and release of the new album?
We're preparing a tour for 2016. Probably a tour support. And we are already working on the next album!
2.How would you describe the musical sound of the newer material?
It's hard to classify our musical genre. But it is between Death, Industrial and modern metal
3.What are some of the lyrical topics and subjects the band explores with the newer music?
Never Look Back album is almost an autobiography. We talk about things experienced. Nothing is fictional. It tells a story, a hard pass our lives in every song. Pedophilia, alcohol, suicide. But also the will to move forward .We wanted to extract everything we had in our head .
4.What is the meaning and inspiration behind the name 'Dust In The Mind'?
Exactly the same thing. These "leftovers" we have in mind and we want to evacuate. The dust in our head. The dust in our mind.
5.What are some of the best shows that the band has played so far and also how would you describe your stage performance?
A very good experience will remain one of our first gigs at the opening for Machine Head at La Laiterie, Strasbourg. A lot of pressure but we gave everything, and the public has booked us a very warm welcome.
"It was the dream of my life" (Jen - Singer)
6.Do you have any touring or show plans for the new album?
Yes, some shows in France, Switzerland and Germany. And we prepare a tour support.
7.The new album was released on darkTunes Music Group, can you tell us a little bit more about this label
Dark tunes is a German label, run by a French passionate about Germany and aware of what music is in Germany. It is a very open structure because you can find on the label some Metal, Gothic, Deathcore or Nu-metal bands. We are very happy to have signed with this label that moves a lot for the bands !

8.On a worldwide level how has the feedback been to your music by fans of industrial and metal?
An incredible return !!! Especially abroad. Our albums are selling very quickly in stores and we look forward to finally meet our public in foreign countries !
9.What is going on with some of the other bands or musical projects these days that some of the band members are a part of?
We had a little change of line-up recently. To integrate members who are full-time musicians in Dust in mind. Dam, Matt and Arnaud were part of ABSURDITY band. But building a schedule that suits both groups is very difficult. That's why members of Dust in mind are only with Dust in mind now.
10.Where do you see the band heading into musically during the future?
We hope to make a big tour support. We hope to turn abroad, especially in Germany. We dedicate our lives to our band. That's why we try to make the band grow increasingly.
11.What are some of the bands or musical styles that have had an influence on your newer music and also what are you listening to nowadays?
Dam, the composer, is a big fan of Peter Tagtgren (Pain / Hypocrisy). We strongly feel this influence in the band. But for the future album which is being writing, we rely on sound much cleaner, near Monuments and Periphery.
We listen as much as Death or djent or Metalcore
12.What are some of your other non musical interests?
Hiking, antiques, nature, animals, and motorsports.
13.Before we wrap up this interview, do you have any final words or thoughts?
