Enthrallment are a band from Bulgaria that has been featured before in this zine and plays a brutal form of death metal with a touch of grindcore and this is a review of their 2015 album "Eugenic Wounds" which was released by Rebirth The Metal Productions.
A very fast and brutal death metal sound starts off the album along with a great amount of blast beats and growling vocals and you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on the recording and high pitched screams can also be heard in certain sections of t he recordings while the riffs bring in melodies at times.
Throughout the recording you can hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while the solos sound very melodic yet chaotic at times and some songs bring in sound effects giving the music the atmosphere of a horror film and the bass guitars also have a very dominant sound throughout the recording and as the album progresses clean playing can be heard briefly along with a short acoustic instrumental.
Enthrallment creates another recording that is very brutal while also showing a great amount of progress and skill as musicians, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover gore, murder and torture themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Enthrallment and if you are a fan of this band, you should enjoy this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Deserved Fears" "Inspired Lunatic" and "Enslaved by Your Own Seed". 8 out of 10.
