Unbreakable Hatred are a band from Quebec, Canada that plays a brutal mixture of technical death metal and grindcore and this is a review of their 2015 album "Ruins" which was released by Unique Leader Records.
A very fast, heavy and brutal sound starts off the album along with all of t he musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them and after awhile melodic riffing, death metal growls and blast beats are added into the music and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts.
Angry shouting grindcore vocals can be heard quite a bit throughout the recording while the solos and leads bring in a very technical style of death metal and some of the riffs also bring in elements of thrash and while the music sounds very modern you can hear some influences from the mid 90's style of American death metal at times and the whole album remains true to a very heavy and brutal musical direction from beginning to ending of the recording.
Unbreakable Hatred plays a musical style that takes the brutal and technical sides of death metal and mixes it with grindcore to create a very heavy album that also displays a great amount of talent and skill, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover war, conflict, destruction and violence themes.
In my opinion Unbreakable Hatred are a very great sounding brutal mixture of technical death metal and grindcore and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Dysfunctional System" "Unpredictable Brutality" and "Primitive Thoughts". 8 out of 10.
